The 2015-16 Season of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León
In this season, the team of batons of the orchestra counts with two main guest conductors, since the Israeli maestro Eliahu Inbal joins the young Briton Andrew Gourlay, besides counting with Jesús López Cobos, from Zamora, as conductor emeritus of the group. Under the slogan En sinfonía con la OSCyL, 20 programmes will be developed throughout the regular season, with composers like Rachmaninov, Shostakovich, Mahler, Brahms, Mozart or Beethoven, besides also betting on works of new creation. At the front of the orchestra conductors may be found like Emmanuel Krivine, Jean Christophe Spinosi, Gustavo Gimeno, Joana Carneiro, Da Ye Lin or Diego Matheuz, besides Vasily Petrenko, who was also principal conductor of the OSCyL. The programme series themselves, framed in the Delibes+, gather on this occasion new proposals linked to other music and leading to the capture of new audiences and the loyalty of those already existing. To the already regular Antigua, Canta and En Familia series are added now like Delibes+ Fusión and Delibes+ XXI, in which the orchestra groups will have a special role.
