The Auditori i Palau de Congresos de Castelló, characterised by the symmetrical design of its volumes, confirms Castellón as a city for meeting.

In the building, the spaciousness contrasts with the simplicity of means and materials used in its construction. The building, designed by Carlos Ferrater, is constructed in white concrete, a timeless and sober material. The grey quartzite paving, wood, glass and steel complete the set of materials. The space and light become authentic protagonists together with the 90,000 m2 of gardens surrounding the palace. One of the most important green spaces of the city.

The Auditori has a symphonic hall for 1,200 people, endowed with an infrastructure capable of adapting to the different formats of the current shows and a chamber hall for 350 people, prepared to house chamber and small format concerts. Moreover, the building also has an exhibition hall, a press room, restaurant and other extensive multipurpose spaces, the mobility and adaptability of which, transform them in ideal places for the celebration of meeting and events of varied format.

The Auditori opened its doors in 2004 to enliven the musical and cultural offer of the city of Castellon and its geographical area. A large amount of cultural and musical events are held in it, ranging from classical music concerts to pop, rock, jazz, etc. events. Exhibitions, workshops and meetings are also held in the Auditori with the purpose of all audiences participating and enrichening themselves from these activities.

Symphonic orchestras, chamber ensembles, soloists, festivals or musical series where not only local artists participate but also prestigious figures of the national and international scenario, pass through the halls of the Auditori becoming a musical reference perfectly integrated in the circuit of Spanish Auditoriums and Concert Halls.
